Sylvain Chassang
Professor of Economics at Princeton UniversitySylvain Chassang is Professor of Economics at Princeton University, co-editor of the American Economic Review, Fellow of the Econometric Society, Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER, Cambridge), Research Fellow at the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR, London), and Sloan Research Fellow (2011-2013). He is a former student of Ecole Normale Superieure (Ulm, 2000) and holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2007). Sylvain is an expert in game theory, and its application to industrial organization and organizational economics. Recently, he has worked on collusion in public procurement, the design of procurement auctions, the design of whistleblowing mechanisms, and taxation in environments with limited state capacity. His theoretical and empirical work has been published in the American Economic Review, Econometrica, the Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, and the Review of Economic Studies.
