François Fontaine is professor at the Paris School of Economics and at the University Paris 1. He is Research Fellow at the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA). His general research interests are in applied and theoretical labor economics, labor market policy and the micro‐foundations of macroeconomics. His publications have appeared in the American Economic Review or the Journal of International Economics among others.
